And while I’m saying thank you, thank you also to the many of you who support the church in so many ways every single week and every single month: leading or participating in worship, mowing the lawn, managing the budget, heading meetings, leading or participating Bible studies, caring for the facility, doing sound system and IT management, and putting out our bulletins and newsletters. It all adds up to support for this community, and McKnight United Methodist Church is a community that is blessed indeed.

Prayer:

Gracious God, you call us both to love you and to love our neighbor, and you also call us to be the church, both in the in the world and to each other. We thank you for the visible, steady, faithful love already present in our church community. We also ask that you continue to bless us in our encounters with each other and with the world around us. Help us to support one another and to love the world, all in response to the gift and revelation of your love in Jesus Christ. Amen.
