“LOVE . . . HATE” Rev. Glenn Kohlhepp

We welcome the Rev. Glenn Kohlhepp back to McKnight United Methodist Church. Glenn served as Pastor at McKnight from 1981-1988, one of the eight Methodist/United Methodist churches he served from 1966 until his retirement in 2005. His 40-plus years in ministry also included 6 years as District Superintendent of the Butler District, and for a number of those years he also served as Conference Secretary, publishing the Official Annual Conference Journal. Following his retirement Glenn has served a couple of stints as an interim pastor, including at Nixon United Methodist Church (the church we studied the Thom Rainer book with a few months ago).

NEW TESTAMENT  1 Corinthians 13:4-8a

4 Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. 7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

8 Love never ends.
