This will allow us to tour the Mission Barn and see all of the different projects that are accomplished there, and also to contribute our time and energy to put together some of the kits that we have funded. I look forward to sharing that day with you. Please let the office know that you intend to go, or sign up on the sheet in our front hall, so that we can give the Mission Barn a rough count of expected attendance.

And please join us this Sunday as we celebrate the accomplishment of the goal! Right after church we’ll have cookies and lemonade (coffee is always available!). We’re keeping it casual, but it’s well worth marking the completion of our congregational goal with a little thanksgiving and a little sugar and a little fellowship. As Paul says in Ephesians, “I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, and for this reason I do not cease to give thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers.” Amen.

Holy and loving God, we give you thanks for the times when the church functions exactly as it should. By your grace we have been enabled to come together in your name, giving together so that other people should come to know your generosity and your saving grace. We give you thanks for your generosity in giving us enough to share, and for including us in good work in the world. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
