I’m looking forward to worship with you this Sunday, where we celebrate God’s time in God’s presence. I’ll also announce here that we will be having a Blue Christmas service on Thursday, December 17th at 7:00 p.m. Come if you’re grieving, come if the holidays are hard, come if you want to remember something past, and finally, come if you just want a quiet space for worship in the midst of the rush of the season.

Loving God, we thank you for the time that you have given us. We allocate and allot it, we sometimes overschedule it, but we are also reminded to pause and acknowledge that it is always your time. As we embrace all the love and pleasures of the season, help us to be mindful of this gift of time, and help us to spend it in love—in ways that honor you. Amen.
