Please remember those handy dandy nail clippers the next time you stop at Target, CVS, or your favorite grocery store. I’ve turned in the first batch of clippers at the Pittsburgh District Conference, but we’re still collecting all the way up to Annual Conference in early June. Our goal is 1000 hygiene kits for the Mission Barn, and as our recent storm just showed us, the need won’t stop anytime soon. Having these kits pre-assembled makes a huge difference when a ministry need presents itself. Thank you to all of you who have already contributed.

Prayer

Lord, we gather as your people each week, in person or virtually, and your Holy Spirit shows us how to love you better. And we know that loving you also means feeding your sheep, however they present themselves. Teach us to see the needs around us and to have compassion, as you showed us, but also to love each whole person, as you also show us. Help us to be present with your people, loving them and being loved, learning from them and learning how to do all of this in your name. Amen.
