As Paul wrote in his letter to the Philippians, “I thank God for every remembrance of you, always in every one of my prayers for all of you, praying with joy for your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.”

Loving God, Giver of all good things, we thank you for the love that has been built within this church. We thank you as well for the presence of so many differing gifts in this particular congregation of your people. We thank you for the strength of the love within this community, and for the willingness of so many to serve, in so many ways and for so many reasons. We pray that as we serve in these ways, we honor you with our time and our talents, and that at the same time we witness to your love and your action in our lives. Amen.
