Speaking of community life, at our local level here at McKnight, we have one more candidate for pianist, who will play this week, the final Sunday in June. If you cannot attend in person due to travel or other reasons, you may want to tune in on line so that we can have your perspective as Church Council chooses ones of the candidates after this Sunday.

And finally, please remember that the following week, Sunday, July 2nd, is the day that we begin starting our services at 9:30 a.m.

Lord God, giver of all good things, we thank you for your grace throughout all the changes and events of the season: through graduations and other transitions, and throughout Annual Conference. We thank you for your presence at McKnight UMC and in our own homes. As we start a new church year, we ask for your continued grace and presence with us, that we might ever more faithfully serve you, both as a church community and as individuals. As many of us travel during this season, we ask that you help us to treasure the moments and the persons that you give to us, and we thank you for the privilege and the grace of such things as vacations and families and friends. Let us treasure your love throughout, whatever the season brings. Amen.
