We are grateful to the preschool for the many blessings it brings our church, and in particular to one of our congregants (who prefers not to be named) for supporting them and for being such a gracious and effective go-between and problem-solver for church and preschool. Thank you also to those of you who have helped with preparing Halloween and Easter goodies for them, and for helping put some of their art on display in our front hall.

I ask that you join me in thanks and prayer for the families and teachers and board members and church members who came together to make a good relationship between church and preschool, and who contributed to an important part of these kids’ education.

Loving God, creator and carer of small and fragile things, we ask your blessing on all of the young children, here in our community as well as elsewhere. Bless them as they begin their summers, whether busy or idle. Bless them as they continue to grow and learn. Bless them as they begin next year at new schools, and bless their parents and their teachers throughout it all. Help those of us who surround them to offer us support and kindness, that yet another generation grows up to know you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
