One way we can participate in God’s continuing evangelization of those of us already in the church is by reading our Bibles. We can participate in the chapter-a-day reading of Acts—you can sign up on UMC Discipleship for a daily email of a chapter, or you can simply read on your own.

You might use a daily devotional—we have free copies of Upper Room in our entry hall. They’re very straightforward: simply a page a day. If you miss a day, just keep up with the day that you’re on.

God’s call to us is steady and persistent—let us be evangelized, together. I’ll see you in church—

Pastoral Prayer

Holy God, we give you thanks for your continued call on our lives. We ask that you keep calling, and we trust in your love. Knowing that you are everything good and holy and loving, and that you want to draw us into you, allows us to hear you differently. Speak to our souls, convert our minds, and fill our hearts with your love. Amen.
