So thank you to all who were able to come, for your willingness to come together and learn, and for encountering your faith with each other. And thank you to all of you who come to worship to do the same thing. There is more to worship, of course—worship is not just a class—but we do, each and every week, encounter the scriptures together. More importantly, we encounter God together, and we trust that God will guide us as we continue to listen and learn each week. I look forward to seeing you there!

Holy and infinite God, there is always more of you than we can grasp or even imagine. And yet there are ways that you have revealed yourself to us, including through your scriptures and through your church. These are means that you have given us to know you, as much as we human beings can. We give you thanks for these means, and for the many other ways that you guide us and inspire us. And we give you thanks that we can always trust that your guidance will continue, and that your love and your grace persist beyond any mistakes that we make. We ask your blessing on this community of yours, and we give you thanks for the love and the fellowship that we find here. Always in Jesus’ name. Amen.
