All of the events we are planning are for our learning, as the McKnight community. And they are also events that might interest your neighbors, so please feel free to share. Many people would like a more on-the-ground idea of what is happening in Ukraine, or with refugees in our own area of Pittsburgh, even if they have no interest in church. And if nothing else, when you offer the event to them, they will learn that McKnight is a Christian community that cares very much about the world around us, and that is a good and important witness in the world.

Gracious and loving God, we give you thanks for our opportunity to be a part of your work in the world. We ask your blessing on our calendar, but even more, we ask that you help us to listen to you, and to the needs of the world around us. Helping the world around us is far more important than our “branding” or our single church, but we know that you also bless us there, and that your invitation to faith is always in community, always part of the Body. We give you thanks for all that you have given us here at McKnight, and we trust that you will show us how to share the gifts that we have been given. And may it all be to your honor and glory.
