I am meeting later today with the head of the Thrive refugee organization about holding a dinner here about their ministry, as requested by many of you who returned the McKnight Caring forms to me, so I’ll have more information to come. Our ministry continues to expand!

Loving God, we give thanks to you for your many gifts to this community. We are richly gifted with resources and with faithful people. We ask for your continued leading as we discern in which ministries you would have us participate, and we ask that you bless our very human efforts. We trust that you are with us always, and we thank you for these opportunities to give to you, and to our wider community, out of what we have been given. In your holy name we pray. Amen.
