One family went so far as to bring soup and cornbread to my kids at home. Thank you to all of you, for your prayers and for making us feel so supported and so loved.
I’m writing this letter in the surgical waiting room or “family lounge,” and I trust that you’ll forgive a short letter this week.
Wishing you all the blessings of Holy Week, and I’ll see you in church for Good Friday and/or for Easter, to celebrate together—
Becky
Prayer
Holy, loving, and giving God, thank you for this community of your people. Thank you for the love that guides us to pray for each other, for the kindness that helps us to reach out in both loving and practical ways, and for the sense of who we are in you that teaches how to treat each other. As we finish our Lenten journey, help us to realize anew the depth of your commitment to us, and to grow in the kind of love that you enable us to give. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
